Environmental Management

ISO 14067 Product Carbon Labeling (PCL)

ISO 14067 Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP) Training
This three-day course provides the basic knowledge and understanding to quantify their product/services carbon footprint. A Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) is a means for measuring, managing and communicating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions related to goods and services. A carbon footprint is based on a life cycle assessment (LCA) but focuses on a single issue which is global warming. An increasing number of companies quantify the carbon footprint of their products. Companies make these efforts for multiple reasons: enhancing market reputation, engaging with suppliers, clients and other stakeholders, and setting a first step towards a more comprehensive environmental footprint.

Course objectives
On successful completion of this course the delegates will be able to:

Understand requirements and guidelines on the decisions to be made when conducting a carbon footprint study.
Learn the requirements on specific issues relevant for carbon footprints, including land-use change, carbon uptake, biogenic carbon emissions, soil carbon change, and green electricity.
Understand LCA issues, like goal and scope definition, data collection strategies, and reporting.
Learn how to communicate, label, claim and report CFP.
